Temporary Pleasure has announced that they will partner with Dublin Port Company to transform the former pumphouse site into a short-term space for events and performances in the heart of Dublin Port for the first time. Over two July weekends, the team will host 4 open-air music & arts events.

Following the success of Temporary Pleasures D.I.Y. club space that took in Smithfield, Dublin in September of last year. The team now returns with one of their most ambitious projects yet as they transform the former pumphouse site at Dublin Port into a club for two weekends in July.

The initiative will hold four open-air music and cultural events against the iconic industrial background over two July weekends. The team and their workshop participants will create a site-specific installation to interpret and activate the site in collaboration with a program of local artists and collectives.

The project sees Temporary Pleasure partner with Dublin Port Company as part of their Connections Program and supported by the Irish Arts Council, Dublin Port Company, The European Union’s Creative Europe Program, and the team’s sponsors.

Open Call to follow later this week. Keep an eye on Temporary Pleasures‘s social media for updates.
