Trinity’s Boycott Divest Sanction campaign kicks off tonight with a fundraiser club night at Dublin’s Cellar, featuring some of the city’s most in-demand DJs—JWY, Puzzy Wrangler, and Sahana. Expect a wide-ranging soundtrack, from gritty breaks and bouncing electro to rave-drenched hardcore, as Ireland’s club scene unites once again in support of Palestine.
This event marks the beginning of a series of initiatives led by Trinity’s BDS movement, aimed at raising awareness and support for Palestinian rights through a blend of culture and activism. With coveted grassroots DJs, a passionate crowd, and Trinity’s long-standing history of supporting human rights—most notably when students blocked campus entrances in solidarity with Palestine.
The night is set to be a powerful fusion of arts and activism. As a college deeply connected to both social justice and electronic music culture, this event embodies two integral aspects of Trinity’s identity.
The lineup is bursting with breakout Dublin DJs, as three burgeoning artists—Puzzy Wrangler, JWY, and Sahana—take charge of the music for the night. These DJs boast numerous festival appearances at Electric Picnic, Fuinneamh, Beyond The Pale, All Together Now, and more, sharing lineups with acts like Haai, Mass Medium, Coeo, and Floorplan.
