Seminal UK producer Burial is set to release a new two-track release ‘Dreamfear’, via XL Recordings next month. Two audio snippets were posted on social media by the UK label earlier this month, hinting at the release.
New information regarding Burial‘s next XL Recordings album has surfaced. Earlier this month, XL Recordings dropped hints that the mysterious producer was working on an upcoming release for the label.
It seems a new Burial 12″ on XL Recordings is set for release in February, confirming rumours regarding the forthcoming release. “Very limited white label copies” of “Dreamfear” with the title track and a B-side called “The Boy Who Never Turned Up” were listed on Phonica Records this week.
The record was limited to one per client and is currently out of stock. ‘Dreamfear’ is scheduled to be launched on February 9, 2024. The new tracks will be Burial’s first solo release on the label, following a series of releases Kode9’s Hyberdub where he had been releasing music for almost twenty years.
