Max HeyraudCoors is bringing The Big Chill event series to Cork this October, taking over Deep South on Friday 16th October with Patrick Topping and Dublin DJ LIA.
The Big Chill will transform Deep South’s beer garden into an outdoor club space, embracing the autumn chill and making the case for keeping outdoor dancefloors alive long after summer has ended. The event will bring house music, ice-cold pints of Coors and an open-air atmosphere to one of Cork’s best-known clubbing areas.
Headlining the night is Newcastle-born DJ and producer Patrick Topping, the Trick label boss and one of the most recognisable names in contemporary house and techno. Since breaking through internationally in the early 2010s, Topping has become a regular across major clubs and festivals worldwide, releasing more than 100 tracks and collaborating with artists including Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson. His Trick label and event series has also developed into a platform for both established and emerging artists within the underground.
Joining him is LIA, the Dublin-based DJ and producer whose sound moves between deep and tech house, progressive grooves and euphoric club territory. Having established herself as one of Ireland’s rising names, LIA has played across the country, including headline shows in Cork and Belfast, while also taking her sets further afield to Ibiza venues such as Amnesia, Café Mambo and Eden.
Tickets for The Big Chill at Deep South on Friday 16th October are €20, with the ticket price including two pints of Coors, finger food, live DJ sets from Patrick Topping and LIA, alongside merchandise giveaways and prizes.
