A painter, a techno producer, and a band walk into a bar… welcome to Plámásing.

Plámásing is an innovative talk show–style live event that brings together a diverse panel of guests from across Ireland’s creative spectrum. Featuring on-stage interviews with figures such as a techno producer, a painter, and a musical guest who will also perform, the show aims to celebrate the country’s rich artistic talent through engaging, craic-filled conversations.

Chaz Moloney
Chaz Moloney, one of Ireland’s most revered live techno artists, will share insights into his creative process, shaped in large part by his role as co-founder of Hardware, Ireland’s premier all-live, fully improvised electronic music party. This improvised format is central to his approach as both a producer and DJ, where he creates tension and energy through spontaneity.

In his talk, Chaz will explore how improvisation influences not only his own work but also serves as a potential common thread among other artists. He’ll discuss ways to access and nurture this form of creativity, whether you’re producing music, performing live, or DJing, and how embracing unpredictability can lead to more authentic and dynamic artistic expression.

Geraldine Carton
Geraldine Carton is a contemporary artist and meme enthusiast whose work exists at the intersection of social work, environmental activism, and creative expression. Her artistic practice is rooted in a deep curiosity about the human condition, often oscillating between humour and vulnerability to capture moments that foster genuine connection and challenge societal norms.

Operating on the fringes of convention, Geraldine’s work frequently confronts gender stereotypes and pushes against the status quo. She thrives on pushing boundaries, an ethos that resonates with all of the guest speakers, bringing a bold, unfiltered energy to every project she undertakes.

B̶a̶s̶h̶t̶.̶
B̶a̶s̶h̶t̶.̶ are known for their intense and unpredictable sound that mixes post-punk, electronic music, noise, and performance art. They don’t fit into any simple category. Their live shows are often wild and emotional, creating a unique atmosphere where anything can happen.

The band likes to challenge what people expect and aims to provoke honest reactions. They use distortion—both in their music and their ideas to explore feelings of alienation, questions about identity, and the strange sides of modern life. This adventurous and honest approach connects them with other guest artists who also push creative boundaries and break the rules.
