Skin & Blister is back with their highly anticipated third DJing for Beginners Workshop, offering a free, four-week course for FLINTA individuals to learn the art of DJing.

This four-week course is designed for FLINTA (female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender) individuals eager to dive into the art of DJing. Set to run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on May 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th at Izakaya Basement, this hands-on course is entirely free, providing participants with access to club-standard CDJs, mixers, and sound systems.

Leading the course are Puzzy Wrangler, the duo who have returned after a successful run and packed performance schedule. Known for their high-energy DJing and extensive industry experience, they are the perfect guides for this crash course in DJing.

Over four weeks, participants will learn essential skills such as beat matching, phrasing, and EQing using Rekordbox, followed by practical sessions on CDJs and mixers. The course will also delve into effects and culminate in a group mini-mix session.

Applications are now open, but space is extremely limited, with only 12 spots available to ensure a hands-on experience. Successful applicants must be total beginners and able to attend all four sessions. Those selected will be notified by next week.
