Following a sold-out debut last year, Berlin’s Pornceptual returns to Dublin this Pride for a larger-scale collaboration with local queer party Rathaus.
The 2026 edition is a big step up from the previous one. It goes from a late-night party to a full venue takeover with longer hours and a bigger program. Last year’s event gave people a taste of Pornceptual’s unique world, which combines electronic music, performance art, and radical queer expression. This year’s event aims to fully realise that world.
“We realised very quickly that 11–3 just isn’t enough time for a party like this,” says Rathaus co-founder Michal. “The energy last year was incredible, but it felt like the night was only just beginning when it had to end. For this year’s Pride edition, we wanted to scale things up properly, more time, more performances and a full venue takeover.”
Founded in Berlin, Pornceptual has built an international reputation for its sex-positive events that blur the boundaries between clubbing and performance. Its parties prioritise freedom of expression, community and experimentation, creating spaces where identity and creativity are pushed to the forefront.
Rathaus has cultivated a similar ethos within Dublin’s underground since launching in 2021. Known for its DIY approach and high-energy nights, the collective merges electronic music with theatrical and often provocative performance, helping to carve out a more expressive space within the city’s queer nightlife landscape.
This year’s lineup reflects the collective’s synergy. Pornceptual residents Vinvar and Rakans will be joined by Rathaus DJs Shannen Blessing, JWY and MAV666, alongside regular collaborator Puzzy Wrangler. On the performance side, Rathaus residents Aria Nasty, Climbwallsweird and Foxxx appear alongside Pornceptual performer PÚCA.
The event is based on the theme of SOLSTICE, which includes ideas of rebirth, offering, and change. The idea is based on Irish folklore and pagan traditions. It sees the night as a time of peak energy, when light, desire, and collective expression all come together.
