The Air Max 180 BLN trainer honours Berlin’s colourful and high-spirited culture. The bold design features vibrant splashes of lime green and pink. The soles are emblazoned with the words ‘Unity’ and ‘Freedom,’ symbolising Berlin’s spirit of inclusivity and freedom. The one-off drop was a celebration of the city’s energy and history.
Brand ambassador Katie Thomas spoke to Solebox, speaking, about how the trainers were perfect for long stints in Berlin dancefloors: “No doubt about it – could definitely spend many hours on the dance floor wearing them.”
On March 22nd, 2019, Nike hosted an exclusive Air Max 180 BLN workshop at Native Instruments’ headquarters in Kreuzberg. The event was followed by a party that ran late into the night, featuring DJ sets from Reznik, Tech9Soul, Charlie, and Airon Kolarow.
