Brussels’ club C12 has just introduced the Under 26s pass, offering clubgoers aged 18–26 discounted tickets to encourage engagement with the local club scene.
All events at the venue are now available to Under 26s pass holders for €15 or less, with upcoming featured acts including Narciss, Ignez, Border One, Reni, BLANKA, Gene On Earth, and many more.
In a statement, the club said: “Club culture makes no sense without sharing it with you! Starting today, if you’re 18–26 years old, you can get the Under 26s special price of €15 at C12. We want to make it accessible to the young crowd and focus on real community support.”
Getting the discount is simple: just bring a photo ID to the door to access the ticket codes.
Although Ireland’s club demographic largely falls between the ages of 18 and 26, since COVID, there has been a decline in engagement among 18–20-year-olds. While the appetite for club culture still exists, the culture itself has shifted, likely influenced by the cost-of-living crisis. If clubs were more accessible and affordable for younger people, this age group would be more likely to engage with club culture more frequently.
With rising living costs putting pressure on young people, the question arises: should Irish clubs adopt a similar strategy to make nightlife more accessible for younger audiences?
