Skin On Skin’s long-running bond with Dublin, and with the Slither crew in particular, deepens once again on Home Is True, the new mixtape released via his Stay On Sight imprint.
The Australian DJ and producer dedicates his closing track, “Always Up In D24,” to Tallaght, the Dublin neighbourhood that has become an unofficial home base during his frequent visits to the city.
A firm favourite among Dublin crowds, Skin On Skin has, over the years, become something of an honorary member of the Slither family. Tour stops in the capital often begin with a visit to Tallaght, where the crew is rooted, lending his appearances the warmth and looseness of family gatherings. Whether touching down for sold-out headline shows or dropping in as a surprise guest, his relationship with the city has evolved beyond the dancefloor—a connection now crystallised in this dedication.
Described as an amalgamation of “new and old songs that I’ve cherished over the years,” Home Is True is framed as both a personal archive and an offering. “Thank you for being on the ride with me — this is all for you, home is true,” Skin On Skin writes.
“Always Up In D24” closes the ten-track release, a tribute to a place and community that have become integral to his story.
