Sputnik One, R.Kitt and Or:La are amongst the 41 artists chose to release on the latest R&S Records release which is being done to raise money to provide PPE to the NHS.

While the world continues to come to terms with the impact Covid-19 is having, many people are feeling let down or frustrated at governments around the world for their lack of preparation, or action during these times. This is particularly the cause in the UK, which is amongst the worst affected countries. The NHS, as are many other healthcare systems across the world, are running dangerously low on PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to protect healthcare workers from the virus.

Artists, labels, DJ’s, producers, venues, media outlets and more are all pulling together in a sense of unity to try help those on the frontline. The iconic R&S Records label are the latest to put together this MASSIVE VA with absolutely all funds raised going to support the frontline workers.

41 Artists and everyone else behind this VA have donated their time and art to create this fantastic piece of art. Amongst this massive list of artists you can find three proud Irish acts in the form of Sputnik One, R.Kitt and Or:La.

R&S: In Order To Care.
All money raised will directly supplying much needed PPE to NHS workers.

All artists and people involved have offered their services free of charge

Mastered by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven Mastering.
Compiled and curated by Raj Chaudhuri.

All money raised will be donated to this fundraiser in association with Chibuku, Circus, The Merchant & Paul Heneghan. We are working directly with them and helping create a distribution network with frontline workers to make sure the PPE visors goes directly into the hands of workers.

R&S would like to state in no uncertain terms: “We do not see the NHS as a charity and it saddens our heart that we even have to do something like this. The UK government has failed the NHS and is outright lying about its inadequate supply chains. We have been speaking directly with frontline workers and they are in desperate need of this equipment, and if we can help get these supplies directly into the hands of workers – we feel it is our duty to unite the music community to help out.”
