Cormac is known for his genre-hopping HI-NRG, Italo, house, techno and new wave sounds and will be bringing the spirit of his acclaimed Polari parties to Tengu, enlisting artists and communities that reflect the diversity and energy of contemporary queer club culture.
A longtime figure in global underground nightlife, Cormac has built a reputation as a DJ, producer and curator with a talent for storytelling through sound. He has released music on respected labels including Ostgut Ton, Running Back and his own Polari Records. At the same time, his mixes have featured on platforms including BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Beats In Space.
The residency will unfold across three dates, beginning on October 2nd with Dublin queer collective Tender, whose residents, Bull Horris and Mercorn, bring their community-driven blend of 90s Euro-house, house, and trance to Tengu. On November 6th, Cormac welcomes London-based DJ, producer and vocalist Josh Caffe for his Irish debut, following acclaimed work with fabric, Honey Dijon, Paranoid London and Erol Alkan. The series closes on December 4th with a rare All Night Long set from Cormac himself, guiding the room through the genres, eras and emotions that have defined his celebrated approach to club music.
