Yesterday, on Robert Smith’s birthday, The Cure announced the upcoming release of a remix collection, MIXES OF A LOST WORLD, set to arrive this June.

The project features a stellar cast of electronic producers, including Four Tet, Orbital, Shanti Celeste, Paul Oakenfold, Sally C, Daniel Avery, and many more.

Two tracks from the collection are available now, with early drops from two of electronic music’s most formidable producers: Four Tet and Paul Oakenfold, offering fresh reimaginings of the classics “Alone” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye.”

All of The Cure’s record royalties from Mixes of a Lost World will be donated to War Child UK, supporting children affected by conflict.

The full release drops June 13th as a triple vinyl package, alongside limited edition cassette tapes and CDs, showcasing 24 remixes and reworks from an eclectic lineup of electronic stalwarts. This remix collection follows the release of their latest studio album, Songs of a Lost World, which arrived in November of last year.
