The Lockdown Series is our latest series in which we invite some friends of ours to choose 10 tracks they feel are essential listening to get you through this lockdown and isolation period.

We’ll be bringing you the picks of some local and international names which will be sure to make your quarantine a little bit easier. These songs selected by the artists will be both a representation of what they play and what they’ll be listening to in their downtime during lockdown, a deeper dive into the minds and tastes of the DJs you love.

For the tenth edition, we welcome EMA to provide us with her top isolation selections.

EMA has made a massive name for herself and impact on the Irish scene in the last year, after returning to Ireland after living in Berlin, she has been on a host of line ups from club shows to festivals.
Amongst all of these club shows, EMA has been highly involved in DDR (Dublin Digital Radio) with her show SAUCE and Give Us The Night and is taking a proactive role in contributing and trying to improve Irish nightlife. Since returning, EMA has also kicked off Woozy which is her club night with fellow Irish talent Sputnik One, which focusses on more Dub heavy sounds.
We also had the pleasure of speaking with EMA as part of a panel discussion we hosted to celebrate the launch of the now unfortunately postponed Forbidden Fruit Festival. We discussed topics from Give Us The Night to the importance of independent club nights and festivals as well as the future of Ireland’s clubbing landscape.

Check out her top 10 isolation tunes below!

1. Zinc – Flim
For a dose of Dub-Garage, Horsepower Productions refix

2. Bussgun – Scratcha DVA, Killa P, Sinjin Hawke & Zora Jones
The chorus in this pulls at your heartstrings!

3. Clara! Y Maoupa – Baja y Suda
A reggaeton/dancehall gem from the Spanish & Belgian experimental duo.

4. LAS – Traveling
Chilled out Dub-heavy sound from one of my favourites.

5. Pender Street Steppers – Falling (Vocal)
Love this track, myself and Jio played it on the The DO!! YOU!!! BREAKFAST SHOW last year. If you aren’t listening to Charlie Bones every morning during this lockdown, you should! 9am – 12pm, nts.live

6. DJ Sports – Fertile Crescent –
Emotional breaks that gives me a little hopeful feeling. Sports is part of the Aarhus crew who run Regelbau, well worth a dig through their releases

7. Admas – Anchi Bale Game
If I had to choose one tune to make coffee to every morning, this would be it!

8. Devin Morrison – No
RnB flava, this one out on Nothing But Net, created by Onra through All City Records

9. Mental Cube – So This Is Love
Early 90s club track, the video will make you long for the dancefloor even more

10. Khotin – New Tab (Side A)
Some healing, textural sounds to sink into
