Today marks the end of Ireland’s 10-day sunless streak, and we’re celebrating the welcome dose of vitamin D by spotlighting 10 camping festivals to look forward to this summer.
Open Ear
Open Ear, one of Ireland’s most unique independent festivals, tucked away on the edge of Ireland on Sherkin Island returns with Sunil Sharpe, Americhord and more from May 29 – June 1.

Éalú Le Grá
This year, Éalú Le Grá returns for its fifth edition, bringing back its intimate atmosphere with a limited capacity of 500 people. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Galway, just 30 minutes from the city.

Fuinneamh
Fuinneamh returns on September 13th & 14th, following their biggest edition last year. This time, they’re going even bigger, presenting the world debut B2B of Freddy K & Chlär.

Electric Picnic
Ireland’s biggest camping festival, Electric Picnic, returns to its usual dates from August 29th-31st at Stradbally Hall in Laois. Although the event is already sold out, the lineup has yet to be announced.

IfYouKnowYouKnow
IfYouKnowYouKnow, one of Ireland’s newest and most intimate festivals, returns for its third edition on August 22nd-23rd. While the lineup hasn’t been announced yet, last year’s festival featured acts like Perc, Julian Muller, and more.

Macalla
Following a successful debut, Macalla returns on July 19th-20th, celebrating soundsystem culture. The festival embraces a variety of genres, including hip-hop, dubstep, drum & bass, garage, techno, and more, creating an open space to honour soundsystem culture in all its forms.

Beyond The Pale
The 2025 edition of Beyond The Pale will take place from June 13th to 15th at Glendalough Estate in Wicklow. So far, the festival has enlisted Jon Hopkins, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Samaʼ Abdulhadi, and more.

All Together Now
All Together Now welcomes its biggest lineup yet. Headliners include Fontaines D.C., BICEP, CMAT, Leftfield and more. The festival takes place from July 31st to August 3rd, 2025, at Curraghmore Estate in Co. Waterford.

Another Love Story
One of Ireland’s premier small festival weekenders, Another Love Story returns on August 23rd-24th. This boutique camping event has been held at Killyon Manor every August since 2014.

Night & Day
Roscommon’s Night & Day Festival is back from June 27th-29th. This three-day camping festival will feature Daithí, along with other live acts, with more to be announced.
