Dublin D&B dons Sharpson and Frame Shift have released the full 75-minute recordings from their support for Bou and MC B Live 247 at Here & Now Club. The pair run through a selection of sucker-punching 170+ rollers, ranging from snarling indie refixes to heads-down hardcore nuances.
Sharpson & Frame Shift supply a live recording from their B2B set at Dublin’s Here & Now Club, accompanied by high-quality video and audio. The show which took place on the 28th of August saw Bou and MC B Live play for Illicit alongside a string of local D&B talent.
Sharpson and Fram Shift represent Choki Biki Records, as founders and residents, respectively. The long-time friends, associates, and B2B partners have unrivalled synergy on the decks and complement each other wonderfully, moving the energy from teeth-grinding breakdowns to smooth rolling grooves.
The pairing executes just over an hour of seamless mixing, weaving in and out of tracks with a sheer amount of poise. From the lush, soulful tones of liquid to the darker, more aggressive tones of modern, brute-force Neurofunk, the duo goes through the gamut from start to finish. This is straight energy from two stalwarts of the Dublin scene.
