Cork marks International Women’s Day with a community-focused gathering at The Pav, where Underground Ovation hosts a multifaceted evening celebrating women across music and culture. Running from 7 pm until midnight, the event blends DJ sets with live guitar, guest speakers, storytelling and tarot readings, alongside stalls from local creatives. More than a club night, it’s a space designed to bring people together, spotlighting women’s voices while fostering connection, creativity and community in the heart of the city.

Tonn Guthanna: Wave of Voices — DRCC International Women’s Day Gig at Wigwam [Dublin]
Over in Wigwam, Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and the We-Consent project present Tonn Guthanna: A Wave of Voices, a benefit event celebrating FLINTA artists while raising funds and awareness. The lineup features a wide cross-section of Irish talent, including SexyTadhg, ESSIRAY, Vaticanjail and Molly Donnery, alongside a stripped-back set from Soda Blonde. The night continues downstairs with DERV B2B DIEBYVEG for a “Basement All Night Long” session running from 11pm–3am, hosted by MC Sadhbh McLoughlin.

Also taking place at Wigwam is a daytime fundraiser from Instinct and Shimmer in support of Women’s Aid. Bringing together a stacked lineup of local FLINTA selectors, the party centres community and solidarity while keeping the dancefloor firmly in focus. Expect sets from hellokt, Sleepless Beauty, RJ The DJ, Shauna Dee, Aibhe Ní Riain, Digital Dash and more, highlighting the depth of talent shaping Ireland’s grassroots electronic scene.

Honeypot: International Women’s Day at Fidelity [Dublin]
On Saturday, queer party collective Honeypot returns to Fidelity for its annual International Women’s Day celebration. Known for cultivating an inclusive and welcoming dancefloor, the night centres gay and queer women while keeping its doors open to the wider LGBTQ+ community, allies and curious newcomers alike. Soundtracking the evening are local favourites k8olo and AVANI, who take charge of the decks for a night built on openness, solidarity and plenty of late-night energy.

Ar Ais Arís with Mantra and Chord Memory at The Space [Galway]
While not explicitly billed as an International Women’s Day event, Galway drum & bass mainstay Ar Ais Arís lands with an all-female lineup at The Space. Headlining is UK selector Mantra, known for deep, emotive sets that balance dark textures with uplifting energy while staying rooted in jungle tradition. Beyond the booth, Mantra is also the force behind the Rupture label and founder of EQ50, an initiative supporting women in drum & bass. Joining her is Irish pioneer Chord Memory, whose roots stretch back to the 1990s Dublin scene and the legendary Bassbin Recordings orbit.

Stacked returns to Wigwam for its first edition of 2026 with a three-floor International Women’s Day takeover spotlighting FLINTA selectors from Ireland and beyond. Leading the charge are genre-bending heavyweights Angel D’Lite and Bianca Oblivion, joined by extended sets from Irish standouts Small Crab and Supergross. Out on the terrace, Discovery DJs Miss Lipbalm and Casio deliver extended sessions of their own, rounding out a full-venue celebration of boundary-pushing club sounds.
