Max HeyraudCulture Night 2026 sees venues and collectives across Ireland open up to a packed programme of DJs, live music, dance, drag, workshops and underground sounds.
Drogheda Groove Movement — Graft Burger Hub, Drogheda
Drogheda Groove Movement presents Sunil Sharpe, one of Europe’s renowned techno DJs and a leading figure in Irish electronic music. A co-founder of Give Us the Night, Sharpe brings his deep underground sound to Graft Burger Hub, with support from Emore and Erik. Expect a night of driving techno, club energy and local electronic culture.
Oíche Chultúir le Raidió na Life — Cleary’s Pub, Dublin
Raidió na Life brings a celebration of contemporary Irish-language culture to Cleary’s Pub, combining live music, poetry, spoken word and DJ sets. The programme features Cúán de Búrca x hHH, Saibhín, Torby and Niamh Cinn Whóir, with more artists to be announced. Expect a lively, multidisciplinary night showcasing the creativity of Ireland’s Irish-language music and arts community.
Theatre Vestibule — Theatre Royal, Waterford
Curated by Harry O’Neill of Luca Records & Decks, this special Theatre Royal takeover features a headline performance from The Slinkies, the duo of Cilian Jacob and Ken Lally, formerly known as VAGUE. Their eclectic sound draws from rock, funk, folk and soul, while Alien:Nation and The Haus of Goofy bring exuberant drag, costumes and make-up to the space. Expect an eclectic, theatrical and colourful night.
Top 8 Session 2 — The Record Room, Limerick
This Culture Night session brings together dancers from a range of styles for an improvised dance battle exhibition, with performers responding to music they have not heard beforehand. Expect Irish dance, Indian classical dance, breaking, samba and Afro dance, alongside a T-shirt printing area, VR game station and a mini installation by Isaac Kossivi. Afro Delight will also provide West African food, adding to the community-focused atmosphere.
BIG FAT SiS — Wigwam, Dublin
Two of Dublin’s biggest queer club nights, BIG FAT SLUT and SiS, join forces for a special Culture Night party. SexyTadhg, DJ RÍ, Anziety, Toni X Toni and Viola Gayvis bring DJs, drag and high-energy performances to Wigwam. Expect hard-hitting electro-pop, big personalities, flying wigs and a joyful, chaotic queer club atmosphere.
Culture Night at Block: Starlight Project — Liberty Lane, Dublin
Block welcomes Dublin collective Starlight Project for an evening dedicated to local electronic music talent, featuring Jezebel, Surferboy, Ali Rivera, Enclave and Donncha. Their selectors move through house, minimal, progressive and deeper underground sounds, creating long-form musical journeys rather than a single fixed style. Expect an immersive night of carefully curated DJ sets celebrating the artists and communities shaping Dublin’s electronic scene.
Pygmalion & OMNI Present Culture Night — Pygmalion, Dublin
Pygmalion opens its atmospheric underground vaults for a free Culture Night celebration of electronic music from 20:00. The line-up features Diebyveg b2b Emma Kearns, AOD and Marco Lorusso, bringing a mix of contemporary club sounds to the Powerscourt Townhouse venue. Expect an intimate, late-night setting with underground electronic music at the centre of the evening.
Tengu Culture Night — Tengu, Dublin
Tengu returns to its soundsystem roots with a night focused on bass, jungle and dub, powered by Rub A Dub HiFi and Mighty JAR. The line-up features Angel Tabris, Ambit, Rustal (Live) and Dub Revival, with Cian Finn hosting and guiding the night. Expect heavyweight soundsystem energy, deep bass and a strong connection to Ireland’s dub and soundsystem culture.
Culture Night x Echo Exchange — Wigwam, Dublin
Wigwam teams up with local collective Echo Exchange for a Culture Night takeover featuring extended sets from Puzzy Wrangler and Collie. On the terrace, DJ FGot and Tony Football go head-to-head throughout the night, adding another layer of energy to the party. Expect a local, late-night club atmosphere built around extended DJ sets and underground sounds.
SBS Presents: GRL — Electric Avenue, Dublin
GRL, the project of established techno DJ Cailín, explores her roots in house music through her record collection and hardware-based productions. The alias has appeared at festivals including All Together Now, Electric Picnic and D8 in the Garden, alongside headline club performances. Expect a groove-focused night where house influences, electronic production and Cailín’s record-led approach take centre stage.
DJ Showcase & Experience — Marina Church, Bantry, Cork
Hosted by Mi.Kooo and DJ Leezur, this hands-on Culture Night event invites visitors to get behind a live DJ setup and discover how everything works. There’ll be demonstrations, the chance to ask questions and an opportunity to have a go yourself. Expect an accessible, interactive evening focused on DJ culture, music discovery and learning.
Duffbox Youth Beats — The Shambles, Bandon, Cork
Presented by Aine Duffy with Natmac DJ, this relaxed DJ workshop and open-decks session is aimed at teenagers and young adults. Participants can learn the basics, bring their own music, experiment with the equipment and take control of the booth. Expect a welcoming, hands-on introduction to DJing with plenty of room to experiment.
Thompsons Culture Night — Thompsons, Belfast
Thompsons brings three distinct collectives together across three rooms for a packed Culture Night programme. MiSFIT takes over the club with Pinot G, Hi Kru, Divergence, MKB and Caolan Patrick, while the terrace hosts a QUB EMS Showcase and the studio features NETWORK 404. Expect three different musical worlds spanning club sounds, emerging electronic talent and alternative energy.
Mince’d Culture Night — Ulster Sports Club, Belfast
Mince Collective launches a more intimate offshoot of its Mince parties at the Ulster Sports Club Committee Room. CHANTY and THOM will provide the music, moving through house, deep, progressive and techy grooves with slower trance-inspired moments, while The Only Nina and Tasty host. Expect a smaller, more intimate version of the Mince sound with plenty of movement and personality.
Plain Sailing’s Culture Night Special — Ulster Sports Club, Belfast
Plain Sailing welcomes Holly Lester, Free The Night advocate and founder of Duality Trax, alongside its resident DJs for a special Culture Night session. Lester is one of Belfast’s established club selectors, bringing her experience across house and underground dance music to the Ulster Sports Club. Expect a groove-led night rooted in Northern Ireland’s independent club culture and local DJ community.
